Abstract

Pakistan and China are “All Weather Friends” they shared mutual border of 595 kilometers. China got independence in Oct 1, 1949, after two years’ independence of Pakistan. Despite its Islamic ideological foundation as opposed to China’s communist system, Pakistan had established official diplomatic relations with China on 21 May 1951.China and Pakistan political economic and strategic relations have lot of challenges but they maintained their relations. The determination of cooperation between them appears to the strength of their ties. Pakistan China long lasting bilateral relation based on mutual understanding and cooperation in defense, economic and geostrategic policies. Both states want to forte their relation. In CPEC agreement China initially decided to invest US$ 46 billion, which will increase with the passage of time. In 2020 China announced 67$ billion dollars to complete the CPEC. CPEC covers almost all the sectors like energy, infrastructure, commerce, education, agriculture, and trade etc. This agreement also considers as game changer in the region. China wants to boasts up the relation by means of CPEC because it’s a route to develop everlasting trading between China and Pakistan. CPEC will create the influence of their route region like Central Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe. CPEC is a tool to enhance the political, economic, and diplomatic and defense relations between Pakistan and China.
