Development and Validation of HPLC method for estimation of Miconazole nitrate in an In house Formulated Nanoemulsion

Abstract

A simple, precise and accurate RP-HPLC method was developed and validated for the estimation of Miconazole nitrate in pharmaceutical dosage form. Chromatographic separation was achieved using a suitable stationary phase and mobile phase under optimized conditions. The developed method was validated according to ICH guidelines for parameters such as accuracy, precision, linearity, robustness and specificity. The results showed that the method was reliable and reproducible for routine quantitative analysis of Miconazole nitrate. Hence, the proposed method can be successfully applied for pharmaceutical quality control analysis.
